Planned giving benefits both the donor and the organization. Donors can reduce their estate taxes and leave a lasting impact, while nonprofits receive vital support for their mission.

Planned giving, also known as legacy giving, is a way for individuals to make charitable donations as part of their financial or estate planning. These gifts are typically arranged in the "present" but allocated for the "future", often after the donor’s passing.
